Cocunut chutney
Hi Guyss,
Coconut chutney or kobbari pachadi is a famous south indian recipe mainly eaten with idli's and dosa's. Here in US I used to crave for cool coconut water in hot summers but since we don't have that "kobbari Bondams" I sometimes used to buy coconut water in cartons which are not so tasty and fresh. We find cocunuts in market but they don't yield much water. Later , thanks to god n Mexicans .. Yes .. Mexicans and Indians have very similar palate. we found that there is a mexican farmers market where it is similar to Indian Rythu bazaars. So we rushed there on one fine saturday morning to do some grocery , As soon as we entered , my husband says " Purna market smell is coming" LOL .. purna market is a big farmers market in our city Vizag. I was like , YEAhhh.. :P .
So as we went inside we found so many vegetables for very low prices when compared to normal Air conditioned grocery stores. We bought so many vegetables and fruits . At the end we found " The Elixir" that we are craving for long time , big sized fresh coconut with very sweet water in it. As I sipped the water from coconut , I felt so relaxed and happy as if I found my Destiny. So from that day . every other weekend we go there and get some fresh coconut water and use coconut for chutney.
