Mixed bean sprouts

Hello Guys .. 

Sprouts are very healthy food and rich in proteins. It is a very apt food for people who do exercises with weights, who wants to lose weight and who wants to eat right. Once prepared , sprouts can be stored for considerable amount of time in refrigerator , from 1-2 weeks but make sure that there is no moisture left in them.So with sprouts we can make different recipes. You can eat them as it is or use them in curries, sandwiches, chaat etc. So today I am going to tell you how make sprouts , lets see ....

You need:


Black beans : 1 cup
Chick peas : 1 cup
Mung beans/green gram : 2 cups
Water : 5-7 cups .

You can also add other beans and lentils.*

Method:

1. Wash the beans thoroughly and keep them in a bowl.

2. Add the water into the bowl , till they are fully covered by water and place a lid on it.

3. Let them soak for one day , and then throw away the water completely. you can see small sprouts coming out.

4. So after removing the water completely...  wash them again and let them rest for one more day covered with lid.

5. By the end of two days you can see beauti'fully sprouted mixed beans.

                 After two days, completely sprouted mixed beans.
Sprouted mung beans/ green gram.

Tip :

1. Store the sprouts in a air tight container or ziploc bag and keep in refrigerator for longer life.
