Egg'let

Hello guys ..

Egg'let is nothing but omlette :P .. Well anyways we can give so many variations to omlette .. i always want to add as many ingredients possible in my recipes because that always give nice color,flavor and mainly nutrition .. moreover it will be wholesome food ..!!
Usually the basic omlette is just beaten eggs with salt. Next upgraded version can be with some green chilles and onions. So My husband usually like the upgraded version where onions give the crunchiness and green chillies gives the spiciness. But in my version I use some more ingredients to make it more nutritious .. So lets see How to do it ..

                                   

You need :

Eggs/anda : 6
Onions: 1/4 ,finely chopped
Ginger: 1 Tbsp ,finely grated
Green Chilies: 5-7 , finely chopped
Carrot: 1 finely grated
Salt : adjust to taste
Oil : 4 Tbsp

I got two omelettes from these ingredients ..

Method:

1. Heat a flat pan .. and 2 Tbsp of oil ..

2. Beat the eggs with all the ingredients and make a smooth batter out of it .. you can also Cumin seeds/jeera .. but i forgot to add here ..

3. check whether the pan is heated enough .. then just pour the batter directly from the bowl and it will spread automatically .. you just have to spread any clusters of onions evenly with a spoon .. thats it .. just lift and twist your pan once to make sure all the batter is evenly spread across the pan..

4. So after 3-5 minutes .. lift the omelette and check whether it is roasted enough and having a nice golden color .. then flip it and cook for few mins

5. after the other side is also cooked ... take in to a plate and its ready to serve hot .. you can serve it along with any chutney/pickle /rice 

Tips :

* Omelette batter starts solidifying as soon you pour it on pan .. so make sure you pour it evenly.

* You can also add tomatoes,capsicum,finely chopped cabagge etc to make your omelette wholesome and nutritious , here i didnt have time so I just used carrots .. 

* Keep an eye on your omelette .. because they cook very fast .. in a split second they can get charred and burn .

* Omelette is a good breakfast option and can eat it as it is .. but you can serve with chutneys/ pickles ... In the lunch Omelette and rice make a perfect combo along with a side curry or daal

  
I planned for only 5 eggs but in one egg i got two yolks :) ..
very suprised to have twin yolks .. !!

             


Add salt and mix well
     


I know it looks like a pizza :)
